Juan Carlos Turcios Banegas, 47, passed away February 21, 2025, at NMMC-Tupelo, MS. Born in Francisco Morazan, Honduras and had lived in Pontotoc, MS for the last 24 years. He was a dedicated member at Restoration Church of Christ, and to his family, always willing to help anyone. He worked in upholstery but also enjoyed welding, carpentry, and building things. He loved Christ and his coffee.
Survivors include his wife, Rose Turcios, his son, Juan Turcios, his daughter, Paola Turcios, his son, Alberto Turcios, and his 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Ramon Turcios and Digna Banegas.
Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2025, from 6-8PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc and Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10AM until service time of 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Pastor Tony Saureda and Zuriel Ondal will officiate. Burial will follow in Baldwin Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jean Turcios, Alexis Sandoval, and Angel Alvarez.
