John Paul Murphy, age 85, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, at his residence.
He was born June 11th, 1939, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to the late John “Jack” and Helen Sullivan Murphy. He was a retired engineer and loved aviation, photography, his family and his Irish heritage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Sean Murphy, two sisters, Helen Miller, and Mary Hannigan, and a brother, Tom Murphy.
He is survived by two sons, Mike Murphy of California and Matt Murphy of California, four grandchildren, Kyle Murphy, Sean Murphy, Devon Murphy, and Kendall Murphy.
There will be no public services.
