David Allen Pell, age 64, of Owens Cross Roads, AL passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday morning February 11th, 2025 after a brief illness.
He was born November 8th, 1960, in Jackson, MS to Joseph Wayne and Ida Lois Pell.
David was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather known for his infectious laughter and passion for hard work, helping others, and selflessness. He served his country honorably in the Mississippi National Guard, and had a deep faith in the Lord and a true servant’s heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Lois Pell, and in-laws, Joseph C. and Geneva J. Massey. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Pamela “Pam” Pell; his three sons, Justin David Pell (Danielle), Jason Schyler Pell, and Jonathan William Pell; and one daughter, Mary Claire Sun Ae Pell; along with his three grandchildren, Owen Joshua Pell, Anna Lauren Pell, and Ari Calvin Pell; and his brother, Larry Wayne Pell (Gale.)
He was the most beautiful, kind, sweet, tender, and loving soul. While our hearts ache in his absence, we are grateful to God that He chose this man to be in our lives. What a sweet kindness God has shown us by allowing us to share life with him for a time. He will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on February 14th, 2025, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
