Lillie Mae Scott, 93, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Marion Regional Nursing Home, Hamilton, AL. She was born in Arkansas to Brad Deaton and Mary Saint Deaton. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved the Lord.
Services will be Friday, February 14, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Duane Burcham officiating. Visitation will be Friday, February 14, 11-1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by four sons, Lee Scott (Geneva) Red Bay, AL, Roger Scott (Jane), Milwaukee, WI, Mike Scott (Angela) Vina, AL and Shawn Scott, Red Bay, AL; two daughters, Mary Whitehead and Patty Scott, both of Red Bay, AL; fifteen grandsons, Lance, Bobby, Rick, Chad, Joe, Josh, J.P., Jacob, Jared, Jeremy, Joe M., Austin, Joshua, Dean, Adam and Cliff; ten granddaughters, Lisa, Theresa, Becky, Mary, Sherry, Jenny, Missy, Meagan, Amy and Lyla and a host of great and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Medford Scott; two sons, Stuart Scott and Billy Joe Scott; a daughter, Lucille Martin; four grandsons, Kenny, Walter, Jason and Mikey; two brothers, Garland and Orbie; one sister, Esther and a son-in-law, Mike Whitehead.
Pallbearers will be Eric Brimingham, Adam Whitehead, Shawn Scott and Josh Scott.
