Jerry Lee Prince, age 74, of Russellville, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center.
Jerry was a hard worker. He loved being outdoors, working in his garden and hunting. He loved life, his friends, and loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Zelda (Winstead) Prince; and siblings, Mary Lindsey, Elton Prince, Beetta Glasgow, James Prince, and Janie Borden.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 57 years, Judy Prince; children, Shelia Simpson (Scott), Jerry Prince II, Kimberly McGee (Tim); grandchildren, Sheena Baker (Randeal), Justin Thompson (Dana), Christian Simpson (Hannah), Kailee Simpson, Phillip Prince (Lindsey), Cheyenne Cheatham; 8 great-grandchildren, with two on the way; siblings, Minnie Taylor (Woodrow), Kathy Prince, Leon Prince (Deb); and a host of nieces & nephews
The visitation will 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 05, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 06, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Woodrow Taylor officiating the service. The burial will be at Jonesboro Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Ronnie Quillen, Jack Quillen, Justin Thompson, Christian Simpson, Phillip Prince, and Jamey Prince. The honorary pall bearers will be Jerry’s sons-in-law.
