Patricia Gale Drake,83, of Hazel Green, Alabama, passed away on February 4, 2025, at her residence on John Hicks Road. Born on September 14, 1941, in Fayetteville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Marion and Jewel Bankston.
Patricia was a devoted Christian whose love for her entire family was the center of her life.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Erskine Drake; her sons, Donnie Drake and Dennis (Deborah) Drake; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, and one more on the way; and her brother, Rodney (Dixie) Bankston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Jewel Bankston; her granddaughter, Debra; two sisters; and one brother.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hazel Green Funeral Home, officiated by Lon Ostrzycki. Patricia will be laid to rest at Prospect Cemetery.
