Etta Christeen Tolbert age 88 of Cullman, died Monday, February 3, 2025 at Woodland Village nursing home.Christeen was a long-time seamstress at Cullman Lingerie. Christeen was a lifelong member of Beulah Church of the Nazarene in Crane Hill. She was an important part of the church family, specializing in her musical, financial and caring ministries. She had a heart of giving and always tried to keep the peace. The giving and caregiving heart demonstrated itself in her being a wonderful caregiver to both her mother and her husband until their passings.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Floyd Abraham and Velma Vercy Sharpton Williams; Husband, Hubert Tolbert; an infant son; and her brothers: Jerry Williams and Leon (Carol) Williams;
Christeen is survived by her brother, Carl (Hester) Williams and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 from 2:00 P.M. until the Celebration of Christeen’s life which will begin at 3:00 P.M. at Moss Service Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Baldwin Heights Cemetery.
