Mr. Matthew “Matt” Shea Smith, age 54, of Arab, Alabama passed away Monday, January 20 at
his residence. Matt was born September 26, 1970 in Marshall County, Alabama to Dewey
Leamon Smith and Linda Faye Freeland. He was employed in the sales department of Aaron
Rentals.
Matt is survived by his mother Linda Faye Smith; sons, Matthew Cole Smith, Jacob Ryan Smith
(Allison) and Adam Nathaniel Smith (Elsie Perez); daughter, Alisyn Kendall Smith;
grandchildren, Elliana Smith-Perez and Riley Camile Smith; brothers, Christopher Dale Smith
(Melissa) and Patrick Scott Smith (Jackie).
The family has elected cremation with a memorial service that will be held at Twelfth Avenue Church of God on Saturday – February 01, 2025 with visitation starting at 2:00 P.M. and Memorial Service will begin at 2:45 P.M.
