Elbie Janelle Burns, 88, of Ripley passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at her residence. Graveside services will be Friday afternoon at 2 PM in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Ripley. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
Mrs. Burns was a homemaker and tomato farmer.
The widow of Clifford “Bob” Ellis, she is survived by 2 daughters Trudy Burns of Ripley and Barbara Olund of California; 4 sons David Burns and Steven Burns both of Ripley, Michael Burns of Savannah, GA, and Jon Burns of Kansas City, MO; a sister Peggy Arwood of Ripley and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
