Jack Ray Lynch was born on August 25, 1956, and passed away at his residence in Grant, Alabama, on January 19, 2025.

Jack was raised in Goodwater, Alabama, by his parents, Homer Eugene and Edna Jewell Lynch. He graduated Bibb Graves High School in Millerville, Alabama and married his first wife, Diane, on December 6, 1975. They have five children, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. They had 43 wonderful years together. Jack worked at Teledyne for 37 years. He received the Holy Ghost on August 23, 1973, in the home where he was raised. He spent his years singing, doing funerals, and encouraging many people. He was the pastor over Clark Avenue Holiness Church for 12 years and was the current pastor at Cedar Point Holiness Church. He married his wife, Deana Lynch, on July 8, 2024. They created a lifetime of memories in just six short months together.

Jack was preceded in death by his first wife, Julie Diane Lynch; parents, Homer Eugene and Edna Jewell Lynch and two brothers, Ralph Lynch and Paul Lynch.

Surviving are wife, Deana Lynch; children, Tabitha Doyle (Sean), Brannon Lynch (April), April Durham (Lesley), Joshua Lynch and Patrick Lynch; step son, Billy Brewer (Chelzie); two sisters, Betty Shockley (George) and Ann Friday; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.

Visitation will begin Wednesday 11:00 AM at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church. Services will be held at Grassy Mountain Holiness Church, Thursday at 12:00 PM with Bro. Joshua Pell, Bro. Chris Clark, and Bro. Joey Furgerson officiating. Pallbearers will be Rickey Stapler, Greg Gowan, Jason Smithey, Adrian Black, Logan Edmonds and Lucas Edmonds.

Interment will be in Panquin Cemetery.
