Jesse Michael “Mike” Felker, 77, of Athens, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025 at his residence.Mr. Felker was born April 23, 1947 in Kentucky to Jesse Albert Felker and Ida Bette Bobo Felker Cox. He is preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Glenos Cox.
Mr. Felker was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church. He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, traveling, and his pets, especially Athena.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Felker; one son, David Felker (Marcia); two daughters, Angela Watwood (Joseph) and Dawna Felker; one brother in law, Mark Clinton (Linda); sisters in law, Peggy Clinton-Logsdon (Marvin) and Sharon Clinton; seven grandchildren, Wesley Watwood, Kayla Watwood, Andrea Watwood, Jessica Felker, Nicole Felker, Sabina Felker and Joshua Felker.
A celebration of life for Mr. Felker will be held Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10-10:50 a.m.
