William “Bill” Corum, age 80, from Grassy, passed away at his residence on January 19, 2025, surrounded by his family, after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Polly Corum and sister Joyce Cottrell. Bill is survived by his wife of 19 years, Diane Rickard Smith Corum; daughter Tracie Corum Trousdale (Jeff); stepson Eddie Smith (Leah); stepdaughter Tammy Richardson (Paul); nieces, nephews, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill never met a stranger and will be remembered as someone who loved to talk, visit, and share great stories. The family would like to thank Affinity Hospice, Shea Eubank, Leca Hutton, Kirsten Fenton, and Matt Flannagin for the love, compassion, and care shown to Bill and family in his final days. The family would also like to thank friends, family, and neighbors for the food, visits, love, and prayers. There will be no formal service or visitation scheduled at this time.
