The memorial service for Susan Ann Brown Horton, 62, of Crossville, will be at 2:00 on Friday January 24th at Christ Episcopal Church (607 E Main St. Albertville) Rev. Shari Harrison and Rev. Ben Alford will officiate with a reception to follow. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Susan passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025, while her favorite music played and with her daughter by her side.
She will be remembered as a loving mother who was dedicated to give her daughters the world, which she did abundantly. She was a Mimi to many, a devoted sister, and a lifelong friend. Her goofy, spunky spirit will be cherished by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandsons. She enjoyed thrifting and finding vintage treasures. Susan had a fierce love for the special people in her life, and she lived life to the fullest.
Susan is preceded in death by her husbands, Steven Bruce Hilley and Barry Keith Horton, daughter, Emily Brooke Hilley, parents, Robert James Brown and Betty Jean Brown, sister,
Debra Lynn Townsend, nephew, Cory Lee Miller.
Survivors include Sara (Chase) Watwood, Daughter, Jayson Bruce Watwood, Grandson, Rex Hunter Watwood, Grandson, Brinda (Tony) Miller, Sister, Robert James Brown, Brother, Paul David (Laura) Brown, Brother, all of her nieces, nephews, great nephews, & great niece who she loved dearly.
Her cherished friends and the slew of kids she considered her own.
Arrangements are entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
