Bonnie Fay Manley Mary Estes (Mitchell) Manley (“Bonnie Fay”) passed away peacefully at Hellen Keller Hospital on January 14, 2025. Bonnie was born on June 18, 1945, to James & Estes Mitchell. She was retired from Franklin County Board of Education, where she taught at Belgreen High School for 18 years, with a master’s degree in early childhood education. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Alabama and attended Alva Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Estes Mitchell; her in-laws, Joe & Eileen Manley; daughter, Tracye Williams; sister, Jo Ann Taylor, brothers-in-law, Jo Manley Jr. and Steve Hammock.

Bonnie is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jimmy S. Manley; brother, Sammy Mitchell (Wanda); sister, Jimmie Sue Mitchell; sister-in-law, Marcia Hammock and brother-in-law, Dwight Taylor; grandchildren, Holly Williams, Jon Williams, Melody Vandiver, Jenni Vandiver; and her pride and joy, twin great-grandsons, Sam & Dean Bresett; as well as a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, Alabama on Friday, January 17, with a visitation from 1:00-2:00 PM, followed by the funeral at 2:00 PM. Bro. Chad Green and Bro. Trevor Hallmark will officiate. Burial will be at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Russellville.
