Sheree Morris GibbsSheree Morris Gibbs, 68 of Rainsville, AL, died on January 14th. She was born in Sylacauga, Alabama to James Morris and Charlotte Morris Tapley. A lifelong lover of music, she began piano lessons at the age of four, and showed a natural and quickly advancing talent for the keyboard. She loved participating in church worship through piano and organ accompaniment, and occasionally singing in choir. Sheree was an avid reader and college football fan, and her proudest accomplishment was being “ReeRee” to her three grandchildren.

Sheree fought a long and brave battle with ovarian cancer. Throughout her journey, she maintained a strength and light about her that inspired so many. She was a source of encouragement for others fighting cancer.

She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Tapley, her son Steven (Julie) Isbell, daughter Eleanor (Colby) Mathews, her grandchildren Andrew James Isbell, Katherine Alan Mathews, and Eloise Elizabeth Mathews, and her best friend Sabrina (Ed) Hunter.
