Belinda Joyce Edwards Andrews, 76, of Morgan City, AL, passed away at her current residence in Langston, AL on Monday, January 6, 2025. Belinda was born in Morgan County on July 1, 1948. She held a few different jobs throughout her life, but spent most of her time as a homemaker, caring for her husband and raising their children. Together, they spent many hours hunting and fishing. She was her boys’ biggest fan, following them all over the country for their hunting adventures and sporting events. Belinda was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As a homemaker, she could be there with the boys after school and always had supper on the table when her husband arrived home from work. In recent years, she spent many hours on the phone keeping up with her children and grandchildren and ensuring they knew how much she loved them.

Belinda is survived by her husband of 59 years, Richard Lee Andrews (Ricky); two sons, Darron (Missy), and Jeff (Jamie); three grandchildren, Justin Cobb (Ashley), Caitlin Vaughn (Kendall), and Jacie Lawrence (Jake); three sisters, Claudia, Martha, and Sarah; four great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, which were all very special to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Lillie Edwards; and four sisters, Reba, Ruth, Dee, and Shirley. Belinda’s fun-loving personality was loved by many. She loved to laugh and spend time with her family playing cards, listening to music, and drinking diet Mt. Dew. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Shriners Crippled Children’s Hospital in memory of Belinda Andrews. Multiple ways to donate are listed on the website: lovetotherescue.org.

At the request of Mrs. Andrews, the family will have a private service.
