Kenneth Felton Sanders, of Boaz, Alabama age 80 passed on January 09, 2025. He was surrounded by his family as he peacefully entered the gates of heaven at Shepherds Cove Hospice. He worked for Goodyear of Gadsden for 38 years and retired there as well. In his retirement he worked 13 years for Boaz City Schools as a bus driver.
Kenneth is survived by his wife of 37 years Regina Rains Sanders. His children David & Shana Sanders, Pam & David Watts, Scott & Pam Sanders and Marcia & JT Taylor. Grandchildren Eden & Jamie Schor, Dessarae Brothers, Jessica Watts, Jade & Ethan Davis, Tyler Nabors, Chase Sanders, Maddie & Taylor Kelley, Noah Sanders, Whitney & Thomas Parrish, Caleb Sanders, Lisa Watts, Sara Grace Powell, Matthew Sanders, Nick Sanders and Paislee Taylor. As well as 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Kenneth’s surviving siblings include George & Pat Sanders, and Margaret Dobbins.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother Felton & Ruth Weddington Sanders. His sisters Shirley Brock, Gay Wilson and great grandson Jordan Brothers.
His Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 13, 2025 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Bro. David Martin will be officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5 until 7 at the funeral home.
Pall bearers will be Chase Sanders, Noah Sanders, Matthew Sanders, Nick Sanders, Caleb Sanders, Tyler Nabors, Jamie Schor, Ethan Davis, Taylor Kelley, and Thomas Parrish.
In lieu of flowers family requests to make donations to Shepherds Cove Hospice or Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Outreach.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Albertville Memorial Chapel.
