Lucille Mattox Franklin, age 92, of Columbia, TN passed away Tuesday, January 07, 2025, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Collie R. and Angie Townson Mattox; four brothers, Noal Mattox, Austin Mattox, Clay Mattox, and Collie Mattox, Jr.; five sisters, Vola Phillips, Christine Daniel, Carlean White, Elaine Mattox, and Kathleen Violet; and one son-in-law, Donnie McMasters.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Franklin of Columbia, TN; one daughter, Vivian King-McMasters of Columbia, TN; one step-son, Jeff Franklin of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Hazel Perry of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren, Jason Roberts (Julie) and Daryl Roberts (Tonya); six great-grandchildren, Aaliyah Roberts, Paxton Roberts, Bailey Roberts, Ella Roberts, Abby Gingrich, and John Brown.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday, January 09, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, January 09, 2025, with Ray Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
