Mrs. Irene Duncan Butcher age 89 of McMinnville, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 01, 2025 at Willow Branch Health and Rehab. She was born in McMinnville, TN on January 30, 1935, was a member of Locust Street Church of God, and had worked at Thompson Consumer Electronics as a line operator. She loved to travel, enjoyed riding motorcycles, and like being at the lake and camping.
Irene is survived by her husband Clinton Butcher, sister Joyce Pinegar, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Butcher was preceded in death by her parents Franklin George Duncan and Bertha Louann Emery Duncan, brothers Leslie Duncan, Oliver Duncan, Ira Duncan, Louis Duncan, George Duncan, Gordon Duncan, and Jim Duncan, and sisters Lola Hall, Lorene Stewart, Drucilla Anderson, Estelle Blair, Mazel Pendergraph, and Mary Sue Harper.
The funeral service for Irene Butcher will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 05, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tommy Burke will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Sunday from 12:00 P.M. Noon until the time of service at 2:00 P.M.
