Mrs. Betty Joyce FullerBetty Joyce Fuller was born on May 12, 1959 to Georgia Ann Hewlett and the late Reverend Gilbert Hewlett, Jr. in Madison, Alabama. She departed this life on December 15, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father, Reverend Gilbert Hewlett, Jr.; five aunts: Arbella Rogers, Corene Langford both of Huntsville, Alabama, Mattie Harris of Madison, Alabama, Daisy Mae Ervin of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Deacon Martha H. Gideon of Toney Alabama; eight uncles: Harvey Ervin, Jr., Annaise Ervin, John Henry Ervin, Bobby Ervin all of Madison, Alabama, Thomas Hewlett, Elder Randle Earl Hewlett, Sr., Robert Hewlett, Sr. all of Huntsville, Alabama, and Richard Hewlett of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandsons: Dominique L. Hereford and Jaylon Waugh both of Huntsville Alabama; two granddaughters: Stephanie L. Hardin and Heaven Hines both of Huntsville, Alabama; great granddaughter, Nivea D. Hewlett of Huntsville, Alabama; and great grandson, Quintarious Scott of Huntsville, Alabama.

Betty was extremely loving, generous, funny and a complete joy to be around. She was well loved as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, and person all around. She never met a stranger. Her infectious smile, jokes and laughter will always be remembered. Betty ran her own cleaning business called Purple Rain Cleaning and did private healthcare.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving husband: Victor B. Fuller; mother: Georgia A. Hewlett; son: Anthony D. Hewlett; five daughters: Diane Hines (Orlando), Melissa Hardin, Felicia Hardin, Teresa Hardin, and Tamekia Hardin all of Huntsville,   Alabama; five brothers: Gilbert Hewlett, III (Ella), Donnell Hewlett, Lawrence Hewlett (Elizabeth), Ricky Hewlett, and Maurice Hewlett (Barbara); and four sisters: Georgia Hewlett (Wade), Mary Hewlett, Patricia Reed (Warren) and Ada Sales (Shelby) all of Huntsville, Alabama; thirty grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Syler Tabernacle Church (904 Oakwood Avenue, Huntsville, AL 35811). Interment will be in the Meadowlawn Garden of Peace. Mrs. Fuller will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.

Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Friday, December 27, 2024 and 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Royal Funeral Home.
