Robert Alvin “Bob” McKee age 84 of Cross Plains,TN died Monday, December 23, 2024. Born January 13, 1940 to Erasmus P. and Frances Wilson McKee. Bob often spoke of his love for God and how grateful he was for that relationship. He was a proud Army veteran, serving time in Germany. Bob’s careers included driving a tractor trailer and owning his own cleaning company. He had a love of all dogs with many faithful four-legged companions through the years. He was always ready to have a long conversation and tell several jokes. . Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Claire McKee Harrod and brother, James Wilson McKee. He is survived by brother, Richard Stein; many nieces, nephew, grand-nieces and nephews along with dear friend, Patricia Willard. Funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1pm in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in White House with Bro. David Blaser officiating. Interment immediately following at Mount Carmel Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is planned for Saturday, December 28, 2024 11am-1pm at the funeral home.
