Carson Moore passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at his home in Mellow Valley. He was born at RMC in Anniston, attended First Assembly Christian School Daycare and New Prospect Baptist Church. Affectionately named “Boobear” by his family and friends, Carson was more than your average 4 year old. Carson was full of life and would light up a room with his smile, and of course would rarely sit still. Carson was very detail oriented when it came to his toy cars and trucks; they would be the only toys that would cause him to slow down and concentrate. When spending time with his PawPaw Gene, he would flip thru the pages of a parts catalog and call out the different car parts. Carson enjoyed watching anything with Lightning McQueen from the “Cars” franchise, Spiderman, and Monster Trucks, with his favorite being “Grave Digger”. He enjoyed going to the Ashland City Park to play on the big wooden ship, driving around with his family on their pontoon boats and four-wheelers, and playing with his sisters, Carter Grace and Alyssa. Carson enjoyed spending time at his Mimi and PawPaw’s house, going thru their special “Pawpaw’s drawer” which included his favorite treats: “Carson cookies”, chocolate oreos, and fudge stripe cookies. Carson also adored his friends at FACS and talked about them daily. He enjoyed his Sunday school class with Mimi and Mrs. Mary Harvell and playing with his cars on the pews
during service. Carson will be missed by so many, but will always be remembered by his love and affection he gave to others.
Carson is survived by his parents, Charles and Brandy Moore of Cragford; his sisters: Alyssa Rae Moore of Glencoe, and Carter Grace Moore of Cragford; his Maternal Grandparents: Diane Goodman (Bill) of Delta and Gene Lowry of Mellow Valley; Paternal Grandparents: Charles Moore Jr (Wanda) and Amy Gilbert; his great-grandmother, Barbara Goodman of Heflin; His Aunts and Uncles: Scottie Lowry of Jacksonville, Anthony Watts (Christie) of Delta; Cody Moore (Rebecca) of Alex City, Aiden Baker and Kelsey Baker, both of Millerville, Sean Goodman (Candace) and David Goodman, both of Heflin; Special Aunts: Sonya “Gigi” Golden, Whitney “Nitney” Golden, and Gabby Heath Brewster, all of Ashland; He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: John and Barbara Griffin, A.V. and Mattie Lou Lowry, Charles Moore Sr. and Lucille “Mama Lou” Moore, and Eddie Joe Martin; and his great-uncle, Johnny “Junior” Griffin Jr.
