Funeral services for Mr. Frank Browning age 90, of Talladega will be held on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with Rev. Brian Camp officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr Browning was born in Randolph County Alabama but had lived most of his life in Talladega County. He was retired from Brecon Knitting Mill, Inc. in the machine maintenance department and retired after 40 years of service. Frank enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, hunting, camping and especially fishing. He was a member of Chandler Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Virginia Simpson Browning of Talladega, three Daughters; Janet Davis of Talladega, Seretha Jones (J.J.) of Lineville, and Marian George (Eric) of Deatsville, four sons; Randall Browning (Sherry) of Talladega, Danny Joe Browning (Rebecca) of Deatsville, Dexter Browning (Pam) of Talladega, and Harvey Browning (Owen) of Talladega, 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and a large extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Nolan Browning and Ottie Hendon Browning, one sister; Ruby Mitchell, three brothers; David, Wayne, and Gene Browning, and one grandson; Jared King.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons; Brad Browning, B.J. Davis, Donny Pitts, Kevin Pitts, Brent Browning, Jeremy Parsons, Henry Nick Parsons, and Daniel Browning.
The family will receive friends at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland on Tuesday December 10, 2024 from 5:30 until 8:00 P.M. and until service time on Wednesday.
