Rickey Lee Lehew, born on September 10, 1958, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2024, in Lebanon, Tennessee. He was the son of the late Gene Lehew and Joan Binkley. Rickey’s life was a journey defined by adventure, hard work, and an enduring love for family and friends.
A self-employed truck driver, Rickey was driven by his desire to explore the open road. His career took him across the United States countless times, allowing him to witness the beauty and wonder of the land. He carried with him a treasure trove of stories and memories that he shared with those lucky enough to hear them. Rickey’s kind spirit and generous heart were unmatched—no challenge was too great, and he always found joy in helping others.
Rickey’s ability to connect with people made him a true social butterfly. Whether telling a funny story or catching up on the latest happenings, his vibrant presence lit up every room. He was a one-of-a-kind man whose legacy of resilience and kindness will be cherished by all who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Chris (Jacqueline) Horne, Randi (Bryan) Burns, and Amanda Moss. His love and guidance live on through his beloved grandchildren: Alexis Horne, Nathaniel Horne, Cynthia Burns, Logan Burns, Dustin Burns, Cody Moss, and Zaura Moss.
