Graveside services for Mrs. Nancy Irene Roberts, age 88, will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 2pm at Oak Grove Cemetery in Fruitland, TN. Visitation will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 11am until 1:30pm in the chapel of Shelton Funeral Home in Trenton, TN.
Mrs. Roberts, a homemaker, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Dyer Nursing Home and Rehab in Dyer, TN.
Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey William and Isabelle Alice (Williamson) Smith; her husband, Marion Bates; a sister, Charlotte Tate; and a great-granddaughter, Mavis Quinones.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by two daughters, Cindy Riggs of Newbern, TN and Frances Pannell of Martin, TN; two sons, Brian Bates of Trenton, TN and Albert Bates of Cedar Grove, TN; a sister, Peggy Clements of Bells, TN; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
