Mr. Joseph Keith Cranford, age 62, of Arab, Alabama passed away Saturday, November 30,
2024 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Keith was born September 14, 1962 in Marshall
County, Alabama. His parents were Joseph Franklin Cranford and Catherine Louise Galloway
Cranford. Keith was a life-long resident of Arab, a high school graduate and a U.S. postal
worker at the Arab Post office. He was of the Baptist faith and attended both Arab First Baptist
Church and Gilliam Springs Baptist Church.
Keith was quite fond of dogs, especially Boxer Bulldogs. He enjoyed spending time with his
garden and flowers and was often found planting and taking care of his various plants. Keith
loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. If you asked any of them about Keith they
would tell you Keith always wanted to be there and be a part of what was going on. He always
went above expectations in service, and to do his part to be a helper in their group despite his
disabilities.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Cranford and a niece, Melissa
Haggard.
Family left to cherish memories includes his sisters, Rebecca Haggard (Earl) and Kathie Neal
(James); nephews, Joshua Haggard and Justin Haggard; nieces, Britney Brewer (Colin) and
Aurora Neal; and special friends, Gina and Tim Scott.
A Memorial/Celebration of Life Service will be announced when arrangements are finalized.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel have been entrusted with arrangements.
