Una Arnold Gray, a vibrant soul known for her adventurous spirit, passed away on November 28, 2024,
at the age of 79 in Braselton, Georgia. Una, a native of Scottsboro, Alabama, born on March 19, 1945, to
Thomas Arnold and Inez Arnold Steeley, was a beam of light to all who knew her, embodying a life filled
with courage, and a zest for discovery.
Una was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Cecil and Bill Arnold; and grandson, Braylon
Enfinger. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Gina) and Michael (Rosa) Gray; grandchildren, Thomas
(fiancé Kathryn), Aaron, Chloe, Elizabeth Gray, and Jake (Mikaela) Enfinger; great-grandchildren, Apollo
and Oaklee Gray, Rylan, Adalyn, Callen, Emmy Enfinger, and Ollie Acrey; sisters, Dina Payne, Betty
Hastings, and Teresa Keel.
A proud graduate of Woodville High School, Una carried the lessons of her youth throughout her life,
approaching every challenge with determination and every opportunity with enthusiasm. Una’s spirited personality was infectious, and she had a unique ability to uplift those in her presence. She navigated life’s twists and turns with grace and a smile. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the courage to embrace life’s adventures.
As we bid farewell to Una, we celebrate the memories and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
Una’s spirit will forever remain a guiding light to all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she
rest in peace, knowing that her legacy will continue to encourage us to live with the same boundless
spirit she shared so generously.
A service celebrating her life will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Scottsboro Funeral
