A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Roberta M. Hendon, 80, will be Sunday, November 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sparta Cemetery in Holcomb, Mississippi, with Bro. Ferrell Wilson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.
Mrs. Hendon passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington Kentucky. She was born July 10, 1944, in Sunflower County, Mississippi, to Cromer Mabus and Beulah Dixon Mabus.
She was a homemaker for her family, loved to cook and go camping.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Cromer and Beulah Mabus of Indianola, MS, a sister: Ruby Little of Pearl, MS, a brother; John C. Mabus of Indianola, MS, and a grandson; Michael Hendon Combs.
She leaves behind her Husband of 62 years- Clyde Moody Hendon, of Georgetown, KY, her Daughters- Shelia Martin (James), Memphis, TN, Debra Porter of Hartselle, AL, Beverly Brown (Mark) of Hartselle, AL and Tina Mays (Tony) Westfield, OH, Eight Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren.
