Ann Lawson Thorn, age 99, of Florence passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 11:00 AM-1:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM; in the funeral home chapel. With Bro. Carl Seigenthaler officiating Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary bearers will be Lawrence Smith and Dr. Danny McFall. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Berlin England, Ellis Cornelius and Clarence Thorn. Daughter, Betty Ruth Hamm, Two grandchildren, Kathy England, Mike England, four brothers, and two sisters. She was a member of New Hope Church of Christ, a loving mother, grandmother and great grand mother. Survivors are children, W.G. England (Bessie), Leon England (Barbara), Ralph England (Frances), Barbara Abramson, Doris Cornelius Lovelace and Sheila Cornelius Hayes (Donnie). Sisters-in law, Grace Lawson, Pauline Cornelius and Carolyn Cornelius. 22 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
