Hanceville Man Dies From Injuries Received In Single-Vehicle Crash

HANCEVILLE-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has taken the life of a Hanceville man near Hanceville:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. Saturday, November 9, has claimed the life of a Hanceville man.

Jeffrey Horton, 63, was fatally injured when the 2008 Ford F350 that he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Horton later succumbed to his injures and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Cullman County 648 near Cullman County 649, approximately 10 miles south of Hanceville, in Cullman County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
