Vanetta Mewbourn age 88 of Anderson died Saturday, May 04, 2013 at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Mewbourn was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Nellie Posey; husband, G.W. Mewbourn; brothers, Hooper, J.C., Otis & Doll Posey and son, J.W. “Button” Mewbourn. She is survived by her daughters, Deborah (Tommy) Nesmith and Nell (Leamuel) Green; grandchildren, Kristie (Tim) Toone, Korey Bates, Jill (Scott) Carlton and Rodney Mewbourn; great-grandchildren, Jacob Toone, Zoe Bates and Jessi Bates; sister, Marie McGill.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 – 11 am at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow in the chapel with J.D. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lynn Clinard, Daniel Brown, Tim Toone, Stanley Scott, Richard Belue and Toby Mewbourn
