Mr. Robert “Ed” Lawson, 64, of Florence, passed away May 3, 2013. Visitation will begin at 1pm Monday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by the service at 2pm in Greenview Memorial Chapel. The burial will be in the mausoleum at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lawson was a member of Florence Blvd. Church of Christ and was a retired medical technologist. He loved his grandson and family and also Alabama football and the beach.
Preceding him in death were his parents, James Robert Lawson and Lovie Faulkner Lawson. He is survived by his son, Kirk Lawson, Daphne, AL; daughter, Amy Lawson, Birmingham; grandson, Carson Prestidge, Birmingham; and uncle, Billy Lawson, Florence.
