Joe loved his family which he showed by his loving advice and always telling his friends about their accomplishments, shenanigans and tales of growing up and his early married years were his speciality. He was an “icon” in the Cloverdale Community where you could find him every morning drinking coffee and “giving advice and telling tales to the” coffee gang” down at the Cloverdale Quick Mart. He loved going to church at Salem United Methodist with his wife, Barbara by his side . He could be found at the sale barn every Tuesday morning where he would always give you a good deal on his “merchandise”. He always shared his fresh vegetables from his and Barbara’s hard work. He retired from Reynolds after 32 years. He loved fishing with his buddies and grandkids. He loved talking about who he was kin to and showing and sharing pictures. He never met a stranger and seldom ever traveled out of town without running into someone he knew. He was so proud of, and loved sharing his cabin with family and friends. He also loved going to auctions and estate sales where he would always return with a “bargain”.
