Wanda Fitts, 61, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her residence. She was born December 4, 1951 in Russellville, Al. and was a nurse for Dr. Kevin Kelly for 25 years. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church, Red Bay, Al.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Steve Lindsay officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery, Red Bay, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one son – Thomas Long Jr., New York, N.Y.; four sisters and brothers – Janet Wright, Danny Garrison, Cindy Mayo and Stevie Garrison and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Fitts, a daughter, Belinda Kaye Long and her parents, Glover and Nople Garrison.
Pallbearers will be Josh Garrison, Richard Blanton, Ethan Blanton, Alex Gist, Joel McCalpin and Dr. Kevin Kelly.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. and until service time on Thursday.
