Robert “Gary” Tucker, 74, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
Gary is survived by his significant other, Mary Hall, daughter Sheila Box (Larry), son “Recycle” Rick Tucker, son Scott Tucker (Amanda), daughter Shawna Lanier (Paul), daughter Chrystal Quinn (Tony), brother Wayne Tucker, sister Abigail Tucker, brother Randy Tucker (Judy), grandchildren Nicole, Amber, Wayne, Cody, Aaron, Kyle, Alex, Emily, Braxton, Lydia, Brelle, Caine, and great- grandson Brandon.
He is preceded in death by his parents A.B. and Jesse Tucker, brothers Ricky Tucker and Larry Tucker, and his loving wife Rose Tucker.
Gary is remembered by all who knew him as a loving and caring husband, father, son, and friend. Gary loved the company of family and friends. His passion was fishing. He could be found on Lake Guntersville with his fishing buddy, brother, and best friend Wayne Tucker. Gary earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was diligent and dedicated throughout his career.
Gary served in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1976 on the USS Yosemite.
