Eddie Dwayne Kelly – Obituary

Mr. Eddie Dwayne Kelly, 55 of Killen passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the VA Hospital in Birmingham after an extended illness. He was a native of Wayne County Michigan. Eddie was a USAF veteran, a member of Killen First Baptist Church, volunteer fireman/Center Star, and Center Star Neighborhood Watch.

   Visitation will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial in Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be the Rev. David McKelvey and the  Rev. David Gregg. Military funeral honors will be accorded at graveside.
   Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Clyde Berry.
   He is survived by his wife, Denise Kelly of Killen, four sons, Christopher Kelly(Alicia) of Florence, Michael Bookhardt(Shannon) of Ohio, Daniel and Zachary Kelly, two daughters, Misty Kelly all of Florence and Karen Bookhardt Ezro(Jonathan) of Ft. Campbell, KY.,  brother, Dennis Kelly, parents, Orby and Louise Kelly all of Florence, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
   Pallbearers will be Tim Hendon, Don Herring, Jerry Hill, Harold Elledge and members from the Center Star Fire Department.
   Carmen Ray will serves as an honorary pallbearer.
   In lieu of flowers  donations may be made to the Eddie Kelly Memorial Fund at the Center Star Fire Department.
