Mary Sue Davis Gann, age 89, of Hamilton, AL, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at NMMC-Tupelo. She was born in Alabama on March 27, 1935, to Granville Davis and Margie Jackson Davis.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt. She was a member of Hamilton Church of Christ and employed with Alabama Power company for twenty-six years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 03, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at Hamilton Church of Christ, the service will follow at 3 p.m. at Hamilton Church of Christ with Bro. Ryan Gallager officiating. The interment will be at Fulton Bridge Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gann; parents, Granville and Margin Davis; two brothers; four sisters.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Melanie Gann Barksdale; two grandchildren, Deagan Barksdale, Skylar (Ben) Kennedy; one great-grandchild, Gus Kennedy; a host of nieces and nephews she loved dearly.
Pallbearers are Deagan Barksdale, Rusty Gann, Tim Davis, Shane Davis and Alan West.
Marion County Funeral Home assisted the family.
