Mary Alice Edwards, 85, Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024. Visitation will be Sunday, July 7, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Greg Reynolds officiating.
Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for sending birthday, anniversary, and get well cards and notes to all the people who were close to her. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Orbie J Edwards; parents, Paul and Alice Miller; brother, Melvin Miller; sister, Twylla Selmer; grandson, Michael Jay Doom; and son-in-law, Robbie Parks, Jr.
Mary is survived by her children, Thomas B. Edwards (Vickee), Jerry J Edwards (Marla), Rosemary Doom, and Cathy Jo Fuller (Michael); sister Wanda H. Luxton; grandchildren, Brandi Lynn Doom, Thomas Paul Edwards, Stephanie Michelle Edwards, Corinne Rose Edwards, and Sean Michael Edwards; great-grandchildren, Jace Devon Zlomke, Celestina Rose Gonzalez, Gabriella Lynn Gonzalez, Delilah Mary Gonzalez, and Summer Marie Kuhrt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
