The memorial services for Mr.Harry Eugene Shenefield, age 87, of Waterloo, Ala. will be Saturday, April 27, 2013, at 3 p.m. at Waterloo Church of Christ with Charles Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Richardson Cemetery, Waterloo, Ala.
Mr. Shenefield died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his daughter’s residence.
Mr. Shenefield was born November 19, 1925, in Mishawaka, Ind. to Daniel E. Shenefield and Estella Fay Easkins. Mr. Shenefield was a retiree from Bendix, South Bend, Ind., a WWIIveteran, tenth Mountain Division Army, and loved gardening.
Mr. Shenefield was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Lucy Beatrice Weston Shenefield; his three sisters, Viola Manual, Eva Cormican, Grace Huffer; and two brothers, Daniel and Charles Shenefield.
Mr. Shenefield is survived by his son, Kevin Eugene Shenefield and wife, Doris, of Upton, Ky.; one daughter, Kimberly Kaye Brannon and husband, Joe, of Athens, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Michael, Adam, Joshua, Christian and Noah Brannon, all of Athens, Ala., Jennifer Veirs, of South Bend, Ind., Tommy Woollen, of Bonnieville, Ky.; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces; and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Limestone County Hospice.
