Funeral service for Sherrill Lavon Gibson, 70, will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stanley Ryan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Gibson passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at his residence. He was born April 8, 1954, in Morgan County, to George Herman Gibson and Adelle Harrison Gibson. He was employed as a Electrician and maintenance worker for Boeing, prior to his retirement. Preceding him in death were his wife, Shirley Steele Gibson and his father: George Herman Gibson and grandson, Gregory Gibson
