Charles Elmer Thrasher, age 92 of Phil Campbell, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his residence.
He was born October 5, 1931 to John and Vernie Thrasher.
Visitation will be Monday, May 13, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Homes in Haleyville from 12:00 noon until 2:00p.m. where services will begin at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel. Burial will be at Winston Memorial in Haleyville. Brother Cegal Reems will officiate.
Charles is survived by his son, Tommy (Dinah) Thrasher; granddaughters, Mary Grace Camp, Mikayla Lee Camp and Renate’ Wellington; grandson, Blake Evetts; great grandchildren, Harper Wellington, Marshall Wellington, Remi Wellington, Brees Evetts; like son and daughter, James, and Rhonda Glenn; nephew, Ricky Thrasher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Truby Thrasher; son, Steve Trasher; daughter, Barbara Thrasher; father, John Thrasher; mother, Verni Thrasher; and brother, Bobby Thrasher.
