Wendy Lynn Whitman, 52, passed away April 20, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee. Wendy was born November 28, 1971.
Beloved granddaughter of the late James and Mildred Whitman, Wendy spent her life with her grandmother in Ardmore, TN. She never met a stranger and loved people, especially young children. Wendy always saw the good in people and wanted to help those in need.
After graduating in 1993 from Giles County High School, she spent time volunteering and being active in her church and community.
She is survived by her mother, Diane (Fernando) and a host of cousins and beloved friends.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Bro. Derrick Moose officiating. Burial will be at Gatlin Cemetery Ardmore, Alabama.
Her memory will forever linger in the flowers she loved and hearts of those who loved her. Rest in Peace dear beautiful soul.
