Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Sue McKennon, age 85, will be held at 1 PM Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service time on Thursday.
Mrs. McKennon, a retired nurses aid and a member of Berea Baptist Church, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Dyer Nursing Home.
Mrs. McKennon was preceded in death by her husband, John D. McKennon; her son, Jimmy Hinson; father, Toy Barber, mother, Roxie Cawthon; a brother, David Harold Barber, and a sister, Mildred, Joann Eagle.
