Billy James Hill, 89, of Gadsden passed away Tuesday April 16, 2024 at his residence. He was a member of Gurley Holiness Church.
Mr. Hill is survived by his daughters, Beverly Moore, Marlene Dobbs (Travis), Brenda Payne (Lewis) and Billie Darnell (David); son, Gary Tucker (Janet); brother, Dean Hill (Linda); 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Ruth Hill; parents, Ralph and Willie Bell Hunt Hill; brothers, Harold Hill and Gary Hill.
Graveside services will be Friday April 19, 2024 at Gunter Mountain Memorial Gardens with Bro. Gary Tucker and Bro. Terry Majors officiating. The visitation will be Friday April 19, 2024 at Scottsboro Funeral Home from 12:00pm till 1:30 pm. Pallbearers will be Zane Kimbrough, Kaden Conley, Matthew Brock, Gary Alan Tucker, Brody Miller and Avery Miller.
