Burl “Ray” Thacker, age 76 of Berry AL, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his residence. Services for Mr. Thacker will be Friday, March 29, 2024, at Bevans Chapel in Berry AL, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Bro. Randall Trimm will be officiating the service. Norwood-Wyatt Chapel will be directing the service.
Burl “Ray” Thacker is preceded in death by his parents; Burlas and Gracie Thacker, brother; Larry Thacker, sister; Shirley Roberts, brother-in-laws; David Roberts, Teddy Garrison, and Jerry Busby, and niece; Jennifer Morgan.
He is survived by his wife; Bonnie Sue Garrison Thacker, daughter; Diana (Andy) Craft, son; Michael (Kandi) Thacker, sisters; Ada (Robert) Strickland, and Debra Busby, brother-in-law/sister-in-law; Dennis and Johnnie Kimbrell, grandchildren; Danielle Craft, Drake Craft, Jakob Brashier, Chad Brashier, and Ryne Brashier, and great-grandchildren; Kinley Busby, Harrison Busby, Marlee White, Kalli Brashier, Annistyn Brashier, Talan Brashier, Maverick Brashier, and Kashlyn Brashier.
Pallbearers will be Brian Kimbrell, Josh Thacker, Drake Craft, Jakob Brashier, Chad Brashier, and Ryne Brashier.
