Phyllis Bledsoe Gillespie, affectionately known as Phee
Phee passed away on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2024 in
her hometown of Milan, Tennessee. She was born to Geor
gia Bledsoe and Lonell Runyon on March 16, 1959.
Phyllis began her education in the Polk-Clark Milan
School System and while not completing through to the 12th
grade she completed her curriculum GED in Milwaukee and
also acquired her Nursing Associates Degree in Wisconsin.
Her career as a Registered Nurse continued through the year
of 2021 where she became ill and entered early retirement
and began assistance to her ailing mother in her interim in
Milan, TN until her demise.
Phyllis is survived by her mother, Georgia Bledsoe; three
children, Phillip, Danielle and Quentin; grandchildren Bran
don, Brianna, Shequira, Danielle (Jr), Faith, Quence, Robert,
Elijah, Quentin (Jr), Ceairra; great grandson, Michael (MJ);
siblings, Jama, Gregory, Tynetta, Timothy, Richard and
George and a large extended family of nieces, nephews,
cousins and friends.
Phyllis will be remembered as a daughter, mother, grand
mother, sister, aunt and friend.
