Kerry Armon Privett, age 67, of Addison, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center in Homewood.
Kerry was born on November 1, 1956 in Jasper, Alabama to Oral and Allene Privett.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. where services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Chris Godbee, Brother Odis Garmon, Jr. and Brother Jeffery Wiggins will officiate.
Kerry is survived by his wife, Kathryn Privett; daughters, Megan (Nathan) Shedd, Casey (Jeremy) Haycraft, Kate Brandon, and Emily (Cameron) Berryhill; grandchildren, Mattie Johnson, Drake Johnson, Novie Shedd, Adylee Summers, Kynlee Summers, Masyn Haycraft, Griffin Berryhill, Grant Berryhill, Everly Berryhill, Jack Berryhill, and Emy Berryhill; sister, Sharon Ward; brothers, Ronnie (Melissa) Privett, and Jeff Privett; brother in law, Mike (Trisha) Umphery; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oral and Allene Privett; and brother in law, Pete Ward.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Mt. Pleasant Youth Fund.
