Funeral service for Gary Everett Knotts, Sr., age 65, of Decatur,
will be Sunday, April 14, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel
with Bro. Tommy Smothers officiating.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
Interment will be in New Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Knotts, who died Thursday, April 11, 2013, at his residence,
was born August 15, 1947, in Arkansas,
to Edward Knotts and Betty Culpepper Knotts.
He is survived by his loving wife, June Kennedy Knotts of Decatur;
one son, Gary Knotts, Jr., & wife, Amanda, of Decatur;
one daughter, Ginger Tyrka & husband, Peter, of Decatur;
and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Kennedy, Greg Kennedy, Keith Kennedy,
Paul Parker, Jeremy Kennedy, and Wiley Saxton.
