Mrs. Emma Geneva Shipley-Grant, 90, of Florence, Ala. departed this life to be with the Lord Sunday, April 7, 2013.
Visitation will be Friday, April 12, 2013, 6-8 p.m., at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral will be Saturday, April 13, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Greater Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Florence, Ala. Public viewing will be Friday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence, Ala.
She is survived by Elizabeth Raglin, Alice Faye McCollum (Frederick), Charles C. Grant (Patricia), Claud W. Grant (Gloria), Bonnie Sue Grant (Clifford), Thomas Edward Grant (Violet); ten grandchildren; 18 great- grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
