Ruby Wilcher Levan of Cordova entered into eternal rest at her home on Friday, January 12, 2024.
Ruby was born March 5, 1963 in Augusta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father, David H. Gilman of Georgia; mother, Mary Louise Adams; Bryan K. Levan, and brother, Tommy Hearn.
She is survived by her brothers Wade (Lois) Hearn, Gene (Mitzi) Hearn, and Jack (Heather) Wilcher, Danny Gilman and Randy Gilman, and sister, Ruth (Johnny) Hearn Ferguson as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Ruby enjoyed crafting and her favorite time of year was Christmas. Her greatest love was spending time with her nieces and nephews for whom she was an adoring friend, confidant, and supporter. While her impact on this world may have lain within a small circle, the depth of her influence on those she so dearly loved was tremendous.
No formal services will be held. The family requests that any remembrances take the form of donations to the NW Family Resource Center of Jasper in honor of Ruby.
